The special composition of the radiation shielding glass from SCHOTT AG, Germany RD 50 and RD30 provides an optimal protection against X-rays in medical, technical and research work. Due to their low thickness both glass types appear attractive when framed. Glass is also more resistant to scratching and can be delivered in almost all geometrical shapes.
Incorporates high quality lead vinyl which undergoes rigorous x-ray inspection prior to use. Our lead vinyl is the lightest in weight for a given lead equivalence. All items are available in 0, 25 mm, 0, 35 mm or 0, 50 mm lead equivalence. All items can also be supplied in any special size, lead equivalence or design.
